If I read your post correctly.. a first down on ANY series in the 4th and the game is probably over, time-wise..
It's "woulda, coulda, shoulda" theory but in reality, regardless of what had happened earlier in the game, no matter how well OR bad the team played, it came down to that last drive. You can't change what happened earlier in the game.
You can ONLY control the moment you are currently in...and that moment was the last Tampa drive.
The defensive play calls were way to predictable for an average QB, let alone Tom Shady. 8-10 yard cushions with back peddling at the snap and not playing to keep the WR's IN BOUNDS ultimately decided the game.
So, who's to blame? Did the players miss tackles? Get beat with GREAT moves? Great play designs by Tampa?
Or should the play calls been a bit more aggressive? Tighter coverage on a few downs? Did Morris try to mix it up? Emphasize not letting them get out of bounds?
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
