Too many changes. We don't know if Boom can
Even play next year. If he can he would be out LT unless Jackson just beats him out. We don't know if/when Edwards can play again. He is out with multiple concussions and his contract ends after this season. He could come back and play well. He could come back and not play well. I have no idea. Allen just got back from a major injury. When he is right like last season he is a Pro Bowl alternate a this position. Is he 100 percent healthy? Shelton was supposed to be our starting RG. He got hurt. Bruss was supposed to push him and maybe even replace him but he got hurt too. Ancrum was supposed to back them up and he also got hurt. Will these guys come back healthy? Dunno. Jackson got thrown into the fire at RG and did great. He moved to LT and did better. He should be an answer somewhere on the line.
It's really impossible half way through this season to predict next year's roster. And this season isn't over. We are 3-5 which sucks. But, we should beat the Cards. That gets us to 4-5 with 8 games to go. 2 are against the Seahawks. We need to sweep those. We need to sweep the Cards. Hard to see us beating the Chiefs, but the other games all look winnable.
10-7 probably gets us in. And how we do the rest of the way May have a huge impact on next season's roster. Is we fall apart and end up with a losing record our FAs will want to leave. If we get it together an make a deep playoff run then they will stay and others will want to play for our Rams.
