so they got side swiped with his quick jettison. IMO it was thought to be a sure thing.....They didn't bring in any o players to get to the SB. IMO the issue with the line was/is that Big Whit WAS the O-Line and they thought he was just a major piece of it.
Not so sure that letting those picks go to get Von was a mistake in their up coming future...it was the shocking departure that ruined that....With Von still here (as planned) he would have been well worth the loss of picks in that next draft.
