You don't have to run great to make play action work

but you have to have a credible threat and Rams don't have it.

You have to do it in likely running situations, 1st and 10--we get those
but 2nd and 5, and so on so defense at least THINKS you are going to
run.

McVay's offense relies on play-action a ton. And Rams don't have a credible
run threat so teams don't bite and there is less room to complete medium passes
or even deep shots, which we never take anymore. What? 4-5 all season?

It's a real problem when a staple of your offense is gone.
