Perhaps the bye week will have benefited Floyd who perhaps (just speculating) was still dealing with ankle issues?
i did not realize Floyd was playing injured. that would explain a lot.

I sure would like to see Gaines show up more going forward. Robinson is really a pure run stuffer but Gaines had developed into a guy that can chase QBs pretty well and that just hasn't shown up so far this year.
i think it was the announcers during the panthers game, or maybe it was some one on this board that said gaines has been on a pitch count because of playing through a shoulder injury.
