Totally agree. Have wondered that for a long time.
If your OL has proven that they can hold the LOS successfully, then fine, run your longer developing plays. If they can't (such as what we've seen against Buffalo, Dallas and SF, then utilize more of the quick hitting stuff.
Brady made a HOF career out of this, hitting Welker and Edelman 5-7 yards downfield almost AT WILL.
At some point in the future this year, hopefully when some of the injured OL come back and get the line settled down, they can mix things up more.
Just cannot see the sense in getting Stafford
