If this were similar to anything it would DJax not Woods. The offense changed with Stafford and the type of WR needed expanded. Woods was awesome but redundant and so they could save cap space and add a different type of receiver. They did not jettison Woods, there was no falling out. He was treated with respect and they worked with him in his trade taking less to send him to a place he wanted to go.
