There is the usual joke of a ham sandwich. An actual trade would be to swap 7th round draft picks -- the Rams give up Akers and pick #244 and get #243 in return. In other words, they get to move up one slot in the 7th round for Akers. Moving up one spot can be very valuable early in the draft -- say from #3 to #2 overall. Moving up one spot in the 7th round isn't worth much at all, which is about what Akers' market value is.
