We are 2-2 and tied for first place. We lost to two very tough teams. The Bills are the early season favorites to play in the SB and the Niners nearly beat us to get to the SB last year.
We beat the other non-great teams. It's a 17 game season. And while I was disgusted by last nights performance I wasn't surprised.
We have a lot of good players out right now.
Allen, Shelton and Edwards are our starting IOL. VJ is a starting WR. And we have a bunch of DBs out too. Kieren is out and many thought he would be something this season. I think it's too early to call it. Have to figure a way to beat the Cowboys next week. That will be tough with so many out but they are missing their starting QB and we will be at SoFi. The NFC is wide open. The Niners can be beaten. The Bucs will probably trail off. GB doesn't have the horses. If we get back to the SB, get healthy and add an OBJ we could absolutely repeat.
As far as the future we have some young OL who are being force fed and gaining experience plus Bruss should be healthy. Our secondary should gain experience and we should have great depth there. Our DL looks good. Our LBs should be solid. We don't have a first rounder but we have 10 picks.
