Jimmie G seems to get rid of the ball in record time against us. Something like 2.5 seconds. If we are back peddling at the snap after being 8 yards off, it's almost impossible to stop. We all have seen it too many times.
In the NFCCG we forced him to hold it just a bit longer (over 3 secs) and it made a difference.
IMO, we have to force Jimmie G to hold that ball just a bit longer than he wants. That's when he makes mistakes.
Playing 8 yards off will play right into their hands. How will Raheem counter those quick pass attempts?
IMO, making Jimmie think and diagnose instead of knowing all he has to do is take 2 steps and fire the ball to whatever WR/TE/RB he wants and they will be wide open for the first 3 seconds.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
