Nice post. Certainly explains the logic of keeping the plays in front of you and limiting the explosives.
Not sure Az was going to have many "explosive" plays no matter how we played them. lol
I get it though but still don't like playing 80+ snaps on D while our O only gets 40+ snaps. That can't keep happening.
I just wish we would mix in some "tighter" coverage. Not "man" per se but every now and then (especially short yardage) maybe play the CB's 5-6 yards off instead of 8 yards off?
It will be interesting to see our game plan on Monday night on BOTH sides of the ball. McVay needs to beat the Farty Whiners consistently.
If we can beat those pukes 2 times this year, I think it might be enough to get Shanny out of the division!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
