I think i'm more confident in VJ than the consensus board opinion.... couple of reasons... the obvious one... I think he's better than given credit for and probably MORE important... I think McVay likes him and has confidence in him.
I worry about McVay in this way... I think he 'may', (not saying it's a sure thing), VERY much hesitate to use players he is a little less than fully confident in... for a number of reasons. AR, for example, not enough time time yet on the field of play (he WAS open a lot against Buff and ignored).... Tutu I think because he just doesn't think he 'has it'.... which brings up..
Tragic that Stafford missed him on that deep pass against Az because I don't think Tutu will get many chances. That ONE play, had it been successful, and I think we'd see a LOT more of Tutu... unless, of course, he really ISN'T ready... (very likely)... but never the less.. Stafford hits Tutu on that pass for a score and McVay increases his targets a LOT.
