First thing's first ... hats off to the Falcons for not giving up. I was actually cheering for them until the blocked punt ... then it got a little too real.
The Great
1) Stafford Kupp connection still a thing. Extending NFL records. Just wow. And the block on the DH TD.
2) Benny in the backfield. What a great idea.
3) COBIE! That's what I want to see, hands and explosive feet.
4) First of many fades to A Rob.
5) Ramsey sealing the deal with straight robbery. My bro and I had been saying "C'mon man why are we paying you 20 mil ... " and then we were like "Oh ... yeah that's why."
The Good
5) Wagner sack ...
6) Our running game looks okay. I was pretty scared after the first game ... but Cam is running hard IMO and the YPC doesn't factor in short yardage or running the clock out. I liked him catching the ball also.
7) The punt safety ... Wolford's idea? That's awesome.
8) A Jackson sliding in at OG just fine.
9) Higbee being a consistent contributor.
10) I thought T Lewis had some good run defense and some pressures.
11) Gaines is a freaking monster.
The Bad
12) Punt block? Really?
13) Got too bland to early in the 4th. When the fam and I talk and we're ahead I start doing math in the 4th quarter ... my job is to find the "point of no return" and I was thinking "We aren't really close to it yet."
14) Bummed Hill and Cobie are dinged, but I'm fine with Rochell and Kendrick against the Cards.
15) I wanted A Robs second TD to count.
16) Higbe not cutting inside on the INT ... or not even trying to break it up. Like Offensive PI is okay there, dude.
17) I know he's a rookie, but how did we not have a plan for Drake London, had they watched no tape?
The Ugly
18) We almost lost a 25 point lead. Wow.
I don't really have much more.
College
19) Im looking for O line always, edges, big RBs, TEs mainly. Maybe a backup QB (there should be a few) and DBs every year late. I like the Fresno State safety 21 ... Evan Williams... don't know why he isn't nicknamed "Whiskey" yet.
20) I think Ohio State and UGA are the teams to beat. Bama is missing outside weapons.
21) Been good games every week, though less last week. I have lots of tape to run through.
