I hated the call even though I understood it.
It's such a bad look and I would much have preferred McVay calling the punt unit over and telling them that someone will probably be looking for a job next week if this punt get's blocked.
Being worried about a 2nd punt being blocked in the same game sure doesn't show much confidence in the punt team as a unit. I know the P was hurt, but didn't Gay punt a few times last year?
All the memories of this happening are great and all, but I think they just need to fix the ST and especially the punt team.
