I learned my lesson on him years ago. He has the physical tools and he can make a great play now and then. Remember the tiptoe along the sideline TD in the 2018 playoffs? Incredible play.

But then he turns around and either lets passes clang off his hands in big moments, or, more commonly, disappears entirely for games at a time.

He is missing something in his makeup - whether you call it heart or football IQ or something else - that makes him not someone you want to be depending on.

Loads of potential that has never once turned into consistent production. I am afraid the Chargers will learn there lesson before long.
