My take?

Rams coaches and players were overconfident and under prepared while an outstanding Bills team hit the ground at full speed.

Rams won’t be overconfident and underprepared again like that probably all season long.

I do have questions about Morris and his return to that soft zone scheme. Hopefully, he will resume a more effective aggressive style.

I now worry about our OL and will continue to do so until I see running lanes opened once again and Stafford given a few seconds to find an open receiver.

McVay needs to get away from calling run plays on virtually every 1st down. Opposing coaches keep track of such obvious tendencies.

Get AR into the game plan, dammit!

Is there a better 3rd WR before Jefferson’s return than McCutcheon? So give the kid a few snaps/targets. What do we have to lose?

A trade for an edge upgrade might be on Snead’s to-do list. We’re getting little to no edge pressure unlike last year’s success there.

DeCamillis needs to tighten up his coverage and return teams pdq.

Lots of work to do in all 3 phases but as you pointed out this is STILL an extremely talented team with superior coaches. So I will be stunned if Rams do not win the NFC West and have a strong playoff run.
