Why didn't the Bills great defense simply intercept Mahomes in OT? That's what the Bengals did, and they punched their ticket to the SB.

A team might lose the flip of a coin, but NFL rules do allow its defenders to stop the opposing offense from scoring if the so desire.

If the Bills were that good, they would have been in the Super Bowl.
