One of my favorite childhood stories was The Little Engine That Could. With an unexpected load to pull up the hill he said "I THINK i can... I THINK i can... " all the way up the hill, and then, "ITHOUGHTICOULDITHOUGHTICOULD" as he gained speed all the way down.
Courage to take on the daunting challenge, even when outmatched, perservernce, dedication, and reaping the rewards that come from hard work and sustained effort were big childhood lessons in post-WWII America. Anybody else here remember?
Now I'll hear, like a song that gets stuck in the back of your head that you can't get rid of, The Little Engine That Could when I see the Tutu. When he's in I'll hear f, "iTHINK i can... i THINK i can... " And I'll be hoping for some ITHOUGHTICOULDITHOUGHTICOULD's to go with it.
Until now I'd thought of him as McVay's vision of a freeze-dried Tyreek Hill.
Now he's the Tutu Train.
