He's not Lyle Alzado, and this isn't the 80's. Players get caught for using 'banned substances'. I'm not even sure that's steroids, banned supplements, something else?.
It's high intensity training, genetics, professional dietitians and nutritionists and a big dose of genetics. Now, pain injections, that's a different story.
He's an angry guy on the football field. It's his superpower. He's like the hulk out there- and, you know, hulk smash.
They take so many supplements now that have adverse effects. I also am not buying that players still don't use "steroids". Not the 80's stuff but still the same effects.
Players always stay one step ahead of the "testing". Taking things that are not tested for. Using "masking agents", etc.
Call it what you want but people just don't look like AD without help. It doesn't happen.
Either way, the bigger issue is his "loss of control". That's a problem. A personal problem...and obviously a "professional" one too.
AD is a "Role Model" for millions of young kids. In today's PC world..."Role Models" don't loose control like that. You could kill somebody if you hit them in the head with a football helmet. As I said, It's a bad look for our legend. This type thing has happened too many times with AD. Sometimes AD just "snaps". I hate to say it but it's true.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
