Well, this is certainly a setback. But he did lose the RG competition and was, in all likelihood, going to be another Rams redshirt developmental project this season anyway. He might have gotten some reps due to injury. But outside of that, I think he was going to be doing a lot of watching this season. Which he can still do. Here's to hoping he has a speedy, successful recovery and maybe he can work on that upper body strength while rehabbing.
The Rams DO need to look at whatever options may present themselves though. I don't think anyone would argue that.
Disappointed, but it is what it is.
