I know Perkins is exciting and can run, but McVay obviously sees what RFL sees. Perkins is slow to make his reads and his time to throw has to be fairly high, I would imagine. We haven't seen Wolford in a while and maybe he'll stink it up on Friday, but mentally, I suspect he can process the whole field better than Perkins. I'd love to see Perkins improve and become a solid #2 as his scrambling ability, at least against back ups is really good. But I find it disheartening that he's been in our system, for what - 3 years and is still learning to make reads.
