Tavon was a gadget. Tutu is a legit WR. Sure, they are both small but other than that it's apples and oranges.

I could buy the 'coach speak' angle if it was just the coaches talking up Tutu. But Tutu also gets high praise from other players (including Kupp), from pundits (including Jourdan), and from fellow Rams fans who actually have seen him with their own eyes. I know coach speak is real and I know why they do it. But the talk is coming from all corners. Can't wait to see it in a game, of course, but there are legitimate reasons for optimism.

Gotta respect the steady praise for Atwell from all quarters this camp. That’s why I am cautiously optimistic about him.
BUT it’s been just camp with no real hitting. I’ll be convinced only after I see his performance on the field. It’s looking like McVay is now not gonna expose him to that opportunity until the regular season, so we may have to wait until September to get our evidence.
Meanwhile, I see McCutcheon playing his heart out on the field with my own 2 eyes. Sooooo…
