I watched Bruss a lot last night. He had highlight plays and lowlight plays.
He’s not ready yet but I see no reason to think he can’t be coached up over time. Big Whit commented that it was a technique thing when he got embarrassed on that one play when he got pushed back onto his butt. Whit said his pads were too high, a simple leverage thing that’s easily coachable. We were overly optimistic to think he would start by opening day, no question.
Absolutely agree on all. And the great news is this team has the best “ red shirt” program lol. He will be fine just takes time. Starters stay relatively healthy then hopefully he can be apart of PAT, FG, punt returns, and the occasional insert in the OL with the other 4 starters with him if someone goes down for a game or two this year.
