Atlantic Ram
All he did was mention old players and coaches that he knew and people he worked for. That's who he is. As authentic a speech as I have ever heard. It's not about him, it's about everyone else. That is what I have always taken from Vermeil personally in leadership. An excellent representation of that principle. It's the people you surround yourself with that lift you up. You are nothing without them. It's kind of a forgotten idea today it seems. Luckily we have a coach in McVay that follows that principle.
It reflected exactly who he is as a person...always giving credit to others before himself It's the ultimate example of humbleness and respect for his peers.
DV is about as genuine as you can get. He has been that way his whole career. It's who he is. I was fine with his speech and it was pretty much what I expected from him.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
