Looks like that was just some BS they threw out there hoping the fans would say: "Oh, if the players, love them. so should I!"
IMO, the Bone is one of the ugliest uni's I have ever seen. I guess this their way of acknowledging the Boners suck, huh?
We all knew as soon as we saw the Alternate throwback that it was better than the Bone. My question is: Was the Alternate TB uni one of the ones the turned down by @#$%&? I bet it was.
This just reinforces my "WTH were they thinking?" when they released those horrible Bone Uni's! Now fix the d#mn Helmet horn!
This is just the beginning stages of walking back the poor Demoff/Nike decisions and it's starting with less bone, thank God!
I wonder what the true deciding factor was for less bone? Poor sales is my guess.
Do they feel obligated in some way to keep bone around since they didn't eliminate them completely? When will Demoff finally admit that less bone is better?
It might take a few years to come full circle and get our helmet horn and jersey numbers fixed but slow progress is still progress nonetheless.
