Early in the season after we beat the 49ers 42-20, Walsh crashed the Dick Vermeil press conference to tell DV that the Rams "were going all the way".

That is when I really started to believe that we could do it, because the dude was serious.

Bill Walsh was a visionary and a genius. Too bad Carroll "died" and Georgia screwed the pooch.
