There's been a lot of discussion from last year in camp and through this offseason about Tutu and whether he struggled to grasp the offense. I was of the mind, given the fact this offense is complex and nuanced and exacting under McVay, that maybe his head was spinning. Seems like that was definitely the case after reading Yarbs' comments.
Bottom line is you aren't going to get on the field for McVay if you don't know what you're doing. To play receiver for him you gotta be able to read your keys and at the very least be in the right spot. Also Yarbs' comments insinuate he thought he'd cruise in here and win with his ability much like Tavon did. Well, newsflash young man, Tavon got traded for a ham sandwich.
It's a real good thing to read that he's locked in this year. Hope he proves a lot of folks wrong this season to include myself.
