This article was written in 2018 so the reference to the second annual holdout refers to the 2017 and 2018 season.

Not that I need to remind anyone, but AD won Defensive Player of the Year in both 2017 and 2018 ... despite his holdouts.

If I had my way the media would stop writing about AD's contract negotiations until they announce the terms of his new deal. But they gotta sell their publications (and we all need something to talk about) so I guess I'm not getting my wish ...

We all debated whether or not a DT should be paid as much as he was asking. Things got a little heated from both sides with both sides making valid points.

I am glad we signed him to that mega deal. It really didn't hurt us any in the long run. Things are little different now that he is older. I am sure the Rams will "take care" of AD and he will get what he wants...eventually.

As I said before, I see this as AD and the Rams already knowing how much it will take to get AD back but they are in no hurry. This way AD can skip all the off season stuff and just work out on his own as he is doing right now. IMO, AD will be back with a new contract a week or two before the season starts.

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
