Apparently, Aaron Donald isn't even allowed to try and sell a t-shirt without people becoming upset with him?
Like I said...there seems to be something different in how some folks in this board view his contract negotiations and those of Stafford and Kupp.
Honestly, you don’t see the difference between AD’s contract negotiation posture and that of Stafford and Kupp, BRO?
Seriously?
Well, I can definitely see the difference as it relates to Stafford. He's entering the final year of his deal and it's customary to get a jump on extensions if the player is performing the way it was envisioned.
But I don't see the difference between AD'S situation and Kupp's
to the extent of the name-calling referencing him. In another post, I asked you if you were just being hyperbolic, but you didn't respond to that.
I don't see why you'd call the team's best player a petulant extortionist (who needs to man-up) for wanting to getting another contract with 3 years left on his contract while Kupp avoids criticism for wanting the same with 2 seasons left on his. Both are departing from the norm in this regard. Both are doing so with the organization actively engaging with them.
Is it because Kupp is attending OTA's?
OTA's?I don't think that's the answer as AD has repeatedly demonstrated that he doesn't need OTA's (or training camp for that matter) in order to perform at an elite level.
I have to wonder if some are still harboring some resentment over the team extending him in 2018?
Question: Do you have any issues with AD signing with a marketing firm for off-the-field opportunities that might bring in a new income stream for him and his family?
