Shecky
I'm kidding. Some people are over the top on a player that hasn't had many opportunities and are so quick to judge.
And who's fault is it that he "hasn't had many opportunities"? The dude got hurt falling a football for Pete's sake. When he did play a LOT in the preseason against other players that
didn't even make own their teams...he looked average at best. Not one big play. Not one flash. Not one sign of him having any talent good enough to make our team full of stud WR's. When he got his "chance" to play on ST's he looked less than average at best at that.
Even mediocre players show a "little something" to build on but Tutu showed us nothing...absolutely nothing.
"Quick to judge"? As fans we can only judge the player's potential on what they show us. The criticism on Tutu is warranted based on his performance so far. The only thing "quick" about it was his "quick" placement on IR.
I really would like to see Tutu do well because I am a Rams fan and Tutu is a Ram...for now. If Tutu does well...that means the Rams are doing well too. I would be more than happy to be wrong on this one.
I think I am being generous by saying his time in the NFL (or at least with the Rams) will be SHORT.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
