I know the offense was "Vanilla" as you call it but so were the Defenses he played against. DC's also call a vanilla game plan during the preseason.
Don't you think we should have seen at least ONE big play from him? Just one? There were plenty of other rookies that at least "flashed" some hope. Tutu did not.
Add to the above that the players he was playing against were also rookies and players that weren't good enough to make their teams and still Tutu didn't flash at all. He didn't stand out and looked very average.
Tutu isn't a "scapegoat" either. My issue with Tutu is his lack of talent, not where he was picked or who we should have picked at that spot. At 149 lbs he might not be able to stay healthy very long which we already have seen.
As I have said before, I want Tutu to do well because if he does it will help our team but I am just not very positive that will happen. Until he is no longer a Ram, I will root just as hard for him as any other player on our team.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
