It's been a long time since we've drafted a guy with his ability to play the ball. As I've mentioned before the last one I can recall is Bly.
His problem is he gets bodied by bigger WRs. But I'm confident his ability to track that ball and his awareness of it are going to pay big dividends as an addition to this group of corners. We don't have any ballhawks, or didn't prior to adding Durant.
It seemed like a trait the Rams identified in the draft too. Because Kendricks strength is his ability to play the ball too. So he's a ballhawk as well he just has to be in zone with things in front of him or protected in the scheme because he's got no juice.
