I wanted the Rams to re-sign Miller, too.

But then I remember what the biggest issues were with the Rams' defense last year, and it wasn't edge.

It was run defense. And it was passes to the short middle of the field.

Edge rushing might go back to what it was last year, although I truly think the pressure off the edge will be better this season with the current cast of characters than the Rams were last year before the Miller trade.

But BWagz will help improve the run defense and also help improve the soft underbelly of the pass defense. Kind of one step back, two steps forward in my book.

And this doesn't even consider how much better Ernest Jones is gonna be this year. Or how much BWagz' experience playing SF and ARI bring to the table ... not to mention all he knows about SEA ...
