I agree, but the fanbase did not want Jones and I believe it was the owner Jed York who informed Lynch & Shanahan to do in another direction and they went with the athlete instead. Now I know the Niner Fans did not want Mac Jones, it was all over social media and IMO, York got scared because of tickets and went with the kid with the legs & arm. IMO, it could still workout because I need to see Lance before passing judgment, but one can only hope for an epic fail.
