Which, given our schedule, is a safe bet. But I think this year's team will be the one that gives McVay his first #1 seed for the playoffs.
My rationale is that our secondary should be improved and we should be tougher to run on. Pass rush takes a hit but those improvements plus what I think will be a better group on offense plus 9 being in year two should equal a better overall team.
Other concern is toughness of schedule which is significant. But the Rams are good enough to deal with that I think. So I'd put us at 13 wins and in the mix for top seed.
