I could feasibly see the Rams add undrafted free agents at positions such as inside linebacker and tight end, but I think they’ll be most aggressive in exploring their options is at edge rusher. As we’ve seen in the past, the Rams haven’t been shy about adding veteran free agents at the position, or even making in-season trades. As the Rams assess where they’re at with their current group of players opposite Leonard Floyd, it would be a surprise to see them stand pat between now and the trade deadline. — Jourdan Rodrigue

Hummel
Rozeboom
I might be overrating Hummel but when you watch his college tape he looks like he'll slot in ahead of Rozeboom because he's effective and comfortable in space. What we don't know is how many ILBs the Rams will keep. But the top 3 are not going to change. So while it's possible they scoop a castoff in this year's final cuts due to the depth of the ILB class chances are Hummel will roll over the bottom of the chart. And overall that's a really nice room IMO because Howard looked exceptional off the bench last year and they improved it at the top.
If Jones makes a move in year two the group will be even better too.
Now TE however is another matter entirely. Yes that remains a need even though I am intrigued by what we have seen of late from the depth options. But IMO what we really need at TE is more quality at the top, more pass game threat. Higs is good overall but he's not a guy you crap your pants over in gameplanning.
