4.5 per year. We were up against the cap last year so probably could not afford him (at least that is what the team felt - not at that price point).
Rams get him for 1 yr for 1.5 million. A much more affordable contract.
Plus the rule of thumb is a 6th this year is worth a 5 next year. So the draft picks are basically a wash.
