I agree. It's in no way a WTF pick (like Atwell a year ago...). The only thing I was a bit surprised about is that the Rams actually went OL there. I thought they would not take an OL until the 5th round and beyond.
I have always been a big proponent of Big 10 OL with 30+ starts. He can come in and compete right away. An obvious RG at the NFL level. Whoever does not win the RG spot among Shelton, Anchrum and Bruss will give them good interior OL depth along with Jackson as the 3rd OT.
I do think Edwards remains the starting LG but this is (like Corbett this year) and eye toward him departing in 2023.
