He made the Rams a better team and organization. He took them from pitiful to competitive. He wasn't the coach to do the full turn around but he put talent on the team and he changed the perception of the Rams overall and he handled the move from St. Louis to LA very well.
The Rams were a total joke before Fisher, with him they were better period and he set the stage for a better coach to complete the Rams overhaul.
I loved the fact that under Coach Fisher the Rams were a tougher, much harder to beat team that was a thorn in the side of the other NFC West teams.
I knew it was time for him to go and was okay when he was fired because he deserved to be, but to ignore the positive changes he made and the good things and players he brought to this downtrodden team when he was hired is ignoring facts.
He was the right guy for the Rams when he was hired and he did some good things, he wasnt the guy to carry forward and I think we all know that...but he wasnt all bad either.
