but they kept pounding it... cannot say how that toughness worked but it DID work and kept the offense balanced
and allowed Stafford to be his best and Kupp and the rest to shine, IMO.
Usually, if the yards per carry were 2, 2.3 or 2.7 yards or whatever, we'd often go pass-happy. McVay didn't and
