Doing what Stafford does best, great throws, but limited . . . with a strong rin attack (does not have to be 100% great, but STRONG, not quitting on it. McVay weakness was quitting on the run game too early, we saw it for years esp. post Gurley.

And during playoffs McVay called plays well, kept Stafford from hero ball, ran the ball, but still called plays that Stafford can shine -- and didn care if it was an INT, as long as it was not a crazy INT for a pick 6.

That coupled with a good D, and good rush...no, great pass rush---Rams won it all. All it took was a simple bit a clarity . . . run it enough to keep defense honest . . .
