He’s a New Orleans kid, that starred at LSU that was ultimately dismissed from the team for violations. Les Miles routinely tried to keep him in Baton Rouge away from old friends in New Orleans that LSU felt strongly were the root cause of many of his off field issues.. I could certainly be wrong but if his goal is that his kids grow up in a safe environment, New Orleans wouldn’t be his first choice.
Earlier this week he attended spring football practices at LSU and spoke to the team and gave a virtual speech to local high school coaches. I’m sure there ia a desire on his part and his agents to get his name circulating again due to him still being a free agent.
