Tyrann is an enigma to me.
This is one where the early flashy years is what people remember.
But overall, he's all over the place. Some good years, some bad years.
He's not great against the run. With his small size, he tries to make the flashy play against the run vs the sure tackle.
So not surprising that his missed tackle rate is almost around Reeder rate.
He is more of a cover safety, better at taking the inside receiver.
His good years/bad years are probably a reflection of the people around him.
KCs defense as a whole last year was not good.. and hence Tyrann's performance was reflective of that.
Needs a pass rush so he can be opportunistic. No pass rush and you neutralize his effectiveness.
So maybe with the Rams defense, it can bring up his performance.
