i do like this signing though with the right to reverse my opinion after seeing what this guy is getting paid. he seems to have been reliable enough over his career. plugs a roster hole which creates more freedom in the draft: if someone at another positions slides late, they can ship the punter and grab one in udfa.

Dixon is obviously not Hekker in his prime (loved Hekker his entire time with us) but i think he can do ~ stats not much different than Hekker's last year.
