IMO, if it were merely OBJ/Wood-insurance, then the Rams would've tried to sign Robinson to a one-year deal (I believe that was what most other suitors were offering). But the Rams gave him a 3-year contract with a significant portion guaranteed. So, he's a significant part of McVay's offensive plan...for this season...and the next.

I was disappointed with Jefferson's play in the Super Bowl where he simply didn't win on many of the (what I considered to be) favorable match-ups that he had. Yet, he's still learning; is on a rookie contract; and, clearly stretches the field for the offense.

It's for these reasons that I suspect that OBJ won't be resigned (unless he takes what I suspect is a low offer from the Rams); or, Robert Woods gets traded (likely to the Lions) for a 3rd/4th pick.

I absolutely HATE that I just wrote that (and actually believe it).
