I don't get it.
Why would Seattle trade the best QB ever to play for them... a pillar of the team and community.... and then turn around and try to obtain Watson for what will no doubt have to be pretty much everything they got for Wilson? Essentially just swapping Watson for Wilson.
Is Watson even an upgrade over Wilson? I sure don't think so.
And don't tell me it's because Watson is younger. Russ is only 33 for Pete's sake. He's probably got at least 5 good years ahead of him. And would Seattle ever NOT be on pins and needles over fears Watson's troubles could resurface? They never had to worry about Wilson.
