Look. I'm a media "hater". But, in this case, it was AD and McVay that seeded this bit is fodder and intrigue.
Why? Probably for different reason. AD probably because the emotional high is so huge that he doesn't even want to think or talk about it.
McVay because he wants more money. And he's probably in a strong position to get more.
But McVay especially is a larger than life media celebrity and he instinctively knows how to keep that spotlight on him. I don't mean that badly. This is the ONLY type of Pro ball coach that can succeed in the current world of social media and LA celebrity love.
