Interesting.
I read Jourdan's article in The Athletic and it mentioned how Michael Brockers was at the team post-Super Bowl party on Sunday night (he's very good friends with Donald).
I started thinking how much I would've wanted him on this team, but then I stopped...
Although I thought that Brock was a very good player for us, I don't think he ever flashed in the way that Gaines has over the last half of the season. And though he was a very good run blocker, I don't think he every dominated in the trenches like A'shawn Robinson did over the past couple of games.
I suspect that I probably shouldn't do any comparisons as a younger Brock played on some pretty poor teams (and yet was stout for us during 2018). But still...give me Gaines.
