Coby Bryant is a football player, long speed might be an issue but he seems quick ...
The Waller kid from VT is also in the area.
But ... given out ability to draft and train guys we may want to look at Shaun Jolly from App st. late and not worry a top pick over it because there seems to be an area where they run out of CBs.
Note ... The D Line is the star of this draft. So any player there works at any time.
Seems to be a possible consensus that McBride (TE) will run a 4.85 and drop as a result. He drops to our 3rd rounder and I take him in a heartbeat. He separates well so I know he has a good 3 cone and he just flat out punishes defenders. THe guys that do "forward stiff arms" are my favorite. Like "Here, tackle the hand" while they're a LB head up coming at you full speed.
Guys like Wydermeyer and Likely are big WR types that will show off well, they're just not my type of TEs.
I don't know what our Safety situation is contract wise, but a Cinci kid like Bryan Cook or the kid from Oregon look the part. I figure guys like Brisker, Woods, and Pitre are all off the board.
There's also a chance an edge guy falls ... but it could be anyone at this point ... just doing the numbers it seems like there's still talent after the first 10-12 guys are of the board at that position.
Appreciate it.
Honestly I just want BPA there. A TE would be fantastic. Back end QB type S too. And so on. But hey if the best guy on the board is a DL draft him. Getting the difference makers really is the key for us since Snead is so good at finding lunchpail types to fill in the roster.
