In the Air Force back then assigned to Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio and stoked that I was going to see my beloved Rams live. Living in Upstate, NY as a kid, never really had a chance to see them, but I was able to get tickets from a MSGT who had season tickets. Anyway the Rams had lost Vice Ferragamo the previous week and Jeff Kemp was now the starting QB. The Ram defense kept Cincinnati a bey and were ahead 17-7, when the Bengals got a late TD and tried an onside Kick that Mike Guman grabbed and rambled 43 Yards for a touchdown and it felt like it took Guman a half hour to run as Guman was not fast, but the onside kick went opposite of everyone so Cincy had nobody there.
Kemp had a 52 yard pass to Ron Brown & the Bengals last TD was scored by Chris Collinsworth Leaving the stadium one Bengal fan said: "I can't believe we lost to the Rams, they don't even have their QB." And I looked at him, pointed to my attire and said go Rams and how about that Congressman's Son? Loved every minute of it.
